Daisy cutter and I traveled up and down the verdant shores of lake otsego. Taking on what ever challenge the wind brought us. I with a badly sliced toe and she with a mast held together with duct tape and one triangular sail that sported a few holes and on undefinable moldy black spot. And of course on giant daisy emblem silk screened onto the highest third of the sun faded yellow and orange sail. The clear blue waters were no match for the Mingos and proved the same for the bicycle yellow styrofoam hull. A vessel so far along the asymptotic approach to perfection it would make the likes of Ahab and Captain Hook blush the color of the morning sky before a storm. A craft so fine Odysseus himself dreamt of it during his return across the Aegean.
